Brewing Guide — Silver Chunk
Big Teapot
- Break off 5–10g from the cake
- Rinse: pour a little hot water (180–190°F) over the leaves, swirl a few seconds, dump it out — this wakes up the tea
- Fill with 180–190°F water and steep 2–4 minutes
- Pour and enjoy. Steep longer or add more tea for a stronger brew
Small Teapot / Gaiwan (Gongfu)
- Break off 5–10g from the cake
- Rinse: add a little hot water (180–190°F), swirl, pour it out
- Steep with 180–190°F water for 20–40 seconds
- Re-steep many times, adding 10–20 seconds each infusion
