Brewing Guide for Silver Chunk

Teapot Method:

  1. Break off 5-10 grams of tea from the cake.
  2. Rinse: Pour a small amount of hot water (around 180-190°F) over the leaves, swirl for a few seconds, then dump it out. This wakes up the tea.
  3. Fill your teapot with water at 180-190°F and steep for 2-4 minutes.
  4. Pour and enjoy. If you want a stronger brew, let it steep longer or add more tea.

Gongfu Style:

  1. Break off 5-10 grams of tea.
  2. Rinse: Add a little hot water (180-190°F) to the leaves, swirl, and pour it out.
  3. Fill your gaiwan or small teapot with 180-190°F water (100-300 ml) and steep for 20-40 seconds.
  4. Pour and drink. Re-steep many times, adding 10-20 seconds to each infusion.
